Default Problems with fwm dbexport/import on connectra

Hello
in the process of trying to replicate my connectra config to a new box on a different network (so I can cluster it) I used

fwm dbexport -f ./prod.export

on my current connectra box

I took the file over to the new connectra and after creating the relevant user groups did a

fwm dbimport -r -f "./prod.import"

the import worked fine
I go in via the web gui (curse you web gui :) )
and all the users are in the appropriate groups,

but ....

the second I try to do anything with the group (even just hit save)

I get a little red message

"One of the object fields has an invalid value."

and the group is deleted

is there some extra steps I need to perform to make this work ?
or is this method not supported on connectras ?

Its going to be a long day(s) if I have to recreate all my users manually

yours in continual connectra frustration

Sean
