Default Connectra with LDAP AD User Authentication

anyone configured connectra with ldap user authentication against Microsoft AD 2003? i'm trying to implement the device with user authentication against AD but can't get it to work beyond the default DN branch of CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=com i would like/prefer to have a specific user group, such as "VPN-Users" in AD that controls access/authentication to the resources published/available through the connectra. thus i have created the necessary group in AD, assigned the specific users to that group, and made the necessary changes in the connectra to use the specific ldap branch for authentication - basically the DN string for this type of configuration is as follow CN=VPN-Users,CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=com and yes, i have verified this is the correct DN using the AD tool adsiedit.msc

just to clearify, if my account is under the default "Users" group in AD and i configure the connectra to use the default branch of CN=Users,DC=mydomain,DC=com then i can successfully authenticate and use the resources configured within the connectra - every other configuration will fail.

i'm running the latest connectra software NGX R60 Build 089

Default Re: Connectra with LDAP AD User Authentication

update - configuration as described is now working properly. the fix/solution to the reported problem is to basically create the same exact group name (case sensitive) in the connectra and assign it the specific ldap group DN of cn=VPN-Users, cn=users, dc=mydomain, dc=com

the above solved my problem and i hope this post helps others with the same and/or similar issues.
