Default can cluster xl be configured on a single interface

hi all as i have posted earlier i am having a problem with my splat that it can work only on a single intel interface.the moment i add a another interface during installation the splat hangs.

now i have 2 splats like these with one nic on each.

now is it possible to have 2 vlans one for internal and one for external interface and one more vlan for the sync interface.

is this possible. can someone pls help me out.

waiting for some help.

There are known issue the NIC you described. I had the exact same issue you
described NGx R65 but it works with NGx R61 so give R61 a try.

I've never tried it but checkpoint always recommend that the sync interface
should always be a dedicate interface.

hi mate thanks for ur reply.yeah i do have R61.but are the features same for cluster XL in R61 and R65.

i mean are there any new features that can only be tested in R65. so i will try to get a new intel pro 1000 MT dual port server adapter.

Clustering is about the same between R61 and R65. You can compare the two Cluster XL user guides and you will not see many changes.

hi mate yeah u are right except for interface bonding and mulricast failover in R65 which is not there in R61.
