Default Strange problem with splat installation

Hi all i am trying to install splat on intel core 2 duo cpu 1.8 ghz.i am usign intel pro 1000 /MT desktop adapter.i checked this nic is authorised by checkpoint. With one nic the install works smoothly.but when i am installing 2 nics in it during the install when the splat ask u for ip address the screen hangs out there.it doesnt move ahead.
During the install in the device list i can see the inte gigabit ethernet controllers.

what could be the problem can somebody help me out

If its hanging then definitely a driver/controller problem.

Did you try installing it with the 2.6 kernel ISO? solves a lot of hardware compatibility issues

hi i solved the problem long ago it was motherboard compatibility issue.

the intel GCNL board was the problem i replaced it with the GPCE board and it worked fine.
