Default Problems routing for VPNs

We have a cluster of two SPLAT boxes on R65 using ClusterXL. We have a couple of VPN tunnels. One is to our site in London and the other is to our web servers at our host.

I am guessing that even with a cluster, the tunnels can only be connected to one of the cluster members at one time. We have been having occasions where one user cannot communicate with nodes on the other side of one of the VPN tunnels but the person next to them can. When i do a trace root i can see that each PC is routing through a different cluster member. One can talk to nodes on the remote side of the firewall, one cannot.

Has anyone else seen this problem before? I think we may be having a similar problem with our Secureclient users.
