Default Restore fail of IP350 cluster

Hello All,

Our cluster configuration are like this;
2 of NOKIA IP350 (IPSO 3.5 + CheckPoint3)
As one of the IP350 failed, we replace a IP380 and restore the tgz files to form the cluster.

The problem is that the cluster didn't work after our restore and we found the CPHA can't be enable with error message say "... error send MAC address..."

Can different model of IP350 +IP380 form a cluster? Any suggestions are welcome and thanks!

You can indeed cluster different models of Nokia's together. I presume you mean 3.5.1 as that was the first version to support IP350/380.

Try taking the new box out of the cluster and readding.

Thanks for the reply.

The first option we like to try is recover our previous cluster. We do like this:

1) restore IPSO image;
2) restore previous backup tgz file
then reboot, but get the error message, anything missing or we need to do some configuration again.

If can't restore that way, I will try rebuild cluster.
