| I'm running R60 HFA3 on two (Sun) secureplatform firewalls. The cluster is configured as active passive. Its worked fine for ages and is still working ok after the latest changes - albeit with complaint. Ive removed 2 of the total 4 network segments from each node. Ive downed the interfaces, changes the routes onboard and updated the firewall cluster object topology in smartcentre. The rules and traffic flows are working ok. But Smartmonitor reports the cluster as having trouble due to interfaces being down. Smartmonitor reports interfaces eth3 and eth6 being down even though they are actually up. Ints eth4 and eth7 were the ones removed. It appears that ClusterXL has lost sync and is reporting the interfaces wrongly. Can anyone suggest a fix? |

| Check your cluster members and your cluster topology. There may be "legacy" interfaces on the original cluster member object that are still being recognised. Easiest way to fix would be to drop the members out of the cluster, re-get the interfaces, then re-join it to the cluster. Make sure you remember your topology settings though! |
