Default VRRP Cluster - Both firewalls showing as active

If i run a CPHAPROB STATE both firewalls are showing as active. What is the best way to return them to an active passive state?

This is correct. Its simply showing that checkpoint state sync is active on both firewalls which is how it should be !

The VRRP state is a separate thing.

You should check the VRRP monitor to determine which is active and which is passive. As has been said the ClusterXL should state Active on both nodes, as this means it is part of the cluster. If it shows as down then the ClusterXL is not communicating and synchronising the state table
