Default cluster dynamic or static load

Hi all,
I have two Nokia IP350 with IPSO 4.1 build 16; CP NGX R60; they are exactly the same.

They are nodes of an IP cluster in forwarding mode.
The load is static, and it is always 50% each; sometimes I see the monitor showing CPU of one nodes reaching 20% instead of 1-2%.

Could be a good solutions to improve performances to assign the load dynamically?
Could be done during the day without losing connections?

Thanks,
Bye

50% means the loading is equally sharing among two boxes.
If you're using the Forwarding mode, that the master would be busy all the time as all the traffic would be "forwarded" that specific gateway before processing.
You may change to Multicast mode if it is supported by your switches.

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
I've investigated the issue and it is not possible for me to change into Multicast, cause I don't directly manage the router, and I have to put hteir interfaces to accept multicast ARP reply, isn't it?
Bye
