Default Interface / ARP Problem

Hello!

I'm running Checkpoint NGX R60 HFA03 ClusterXL on Solaris 8 (hardware is SUN Fire 280R).

Now I got an interface activation problem. I activated ce2 on both machines, configured them on Dashboard, reboot, installing policy an so on...
Now Checkpoint cphaprob is saying, the interface is down on one machine, I can't get it up. For Solaris the interface is up and snoop shows some traffic: the machine is sending out ARP broadcasts for all IPs in the network range. And it's sending out good old "port 8116"-broadcasts.

Does anybody know, what the problem may be?

Thanks.

Default Re: Interface / ARP Problem

Problem solved.
The port on the switch was declared as trunk. :(
