Default IPMP w/ ClusterXL
Has anyone gotten IPMP to work on a server behind their ClusterXL firewalls.

We have Load Sharing, Multicast mode running on a NG AI R55 cluster with HFA_018 on Solaris 9 with the latest patches.

what kind of problems you have?

i've seen problems with ipmp when a nearby nokia vrrp cluster changed master/standby nodes - it resulted in ipmp error. When then nodes were changed back, ipmp repaired itself.

I'm still trying to find out why this happens.

False alarm, turns out the admin had the settings wrong in IPMP. Once he set it up the right way everything went fine.

IPMP does not supported by NG R55. Pivot mode can not update ARP table of other cluster modules. it resolved with NGX HFA03. Check the following resolution.
