Default Strange error message detected on SUN 1GB QuadCard NIC when enable state sync

Hi all,

I just wonder if anyone of you having a strange error message which occurs once enable the state sync on firewall cluster. I have three firewall under one cluster, I noticed this error message in all firewalls as stated below :

Apr 14 15:57:33 xxx.xxxx.xx ip: [ID 856290 kern.notice] ip: joining multicasts failed (3) on ce1 - will use link layer broadcasts for multicast

I'm using Check Point NG R55 HFA15 and I had configured three firewalls to use state sync network at 10.1.0.0 /24. which is defined on dedicated link. What does it mean for this? Shouldn't it goes through dedicated network instead on server's network (DMZ) ?

Thanks very much for your explanation.

Regards,

Al
