| sw: CP FW-1 NG AI R55 HFA17, Sun Solaris 9 Sparc. hw: 2 Sun Fire V-880 w/ + 2 qfe and 3 ge. W/ or w/o $FWDIR/conf/local.arp. /etc/rc2.d/S99arp_pub for virtuals (manual NAT). After a rebooted of the standy member, some MAC addresses of the virtuals are swapped between them, i. e., "arp -a" of the virtuals in the active shows MAC addresses of the physical addresses in the standby, and vice-versa. The problem seems to be related to load the virtual arps before the "cpstart -b" of /etc/rc3.d/S99cpboot. It does not ocurrs w/ cpstop them cpstart! Workarround was to load the virtual arps after the processes started by "cpstart -b". P.S.: From time to time the MAC addresses of the cluster swap also! But it works: the clients get right one! P.S. 2: It occurs with "cpstart" also. Last edited by FERappel; 2006-04-06 at 18:42. |
