Default Connecting and managing UTMEdge X with NGX R65 smartcenter

Hi,
I have a demo UTM EDge X with 16 users and want to connect and make the whole management with
Smartdashboard-/Tracker/Monitor etc( Policy configuration installation etc). The site now has a B class private network (no other segmantation at LAN) and DMZ and static internet connection which is protected by NGX R65 on Windows. I made a utm edge gateway object on smartdashboard but trying to make a policy installation didnt affect the utmedge (and nothing is done at the edge to make a registration with NGX R65). So what to do to make this work?
Regards

Once you create the Edge gateway object in SmartDashboard, you have to go into the web interface of the Edge device, select Services, then select "Connect". You'll answer some questions about your smartcenter config and then the edge device should try to connect to the smartcenter. It will tell you whether or not it can connect & retrieve the policy.

Also, the smartcenter server doesn't know if it pushed the policy or not. You always need to log into the web interface for the Edge device and check it's Reports to see if the policy was updated or not.

Lastly, you could make sure the policy you created has the specific target of the Edge gateway object defined...

Just a side note here concerning this. Edge devices cannot be managed in Traditional Mode, you must be in Simplified Mode to manage these devices.
