| Hi, we started migrating a SmartCenter Server to a Provider-1 Environment. With the firewalls everything works fine. Now I am not sure, how to migrate the VPN-1 Edges to the Provider-1 System. The IP-addresses of the SmartCenter Server and the Provider-1 system differs. I am thinking about using configuration scripts like this: set smp server x.x.x.x gatewayid EDGE_GW registrationkey {S}OTr4Zthn= connect enabled softwareupdates automatic Does anybody has some experience with migrating edges to a Provider-1 system? We don't have a SMP. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Felix |

| Felix, I did that a while back, depending on the number of Edges you need to do it either by hand in the Web GUI, as the command stated does not connect really, the first command just enters the data but does not really connect. I have never used the second one and I'm not sure if that does do the initial connection. __________________ Regards, Maarten. P1 R62 IPSO SPLAT IOS |

| Hi msjouw, sorry this was a CRLF mistake. the command is: set smp server x.x.x.x gatewayid EDGE_GW registrationkey {S}OTr4Zthn= connect enabled softwareupdates automatic Felix |

| Felix, When you try: set smp connect disabled set smp server x.x.x.x gatewayid EDGE_GW registrationkey {S}OTr4Zthn= softwareupdates automatic set smp connect enabled You should be able to test this on one test box and see if it connects to your new CMA __________________ Regards, Maarten.
