Securemote on VPN-1

Hi,

I am not able to connect to my VPN-1 Edge X ADSL Embedded NGX 6.5.22x . My vpn client says that no communication was made with my VPN server. I set the sniffer on the box and I found that my client was communicating with the address of the DMZ X.X.253.1 (This is not active either). Could this be the problem ?
Does anyone has some doc about how to set up a VPN client on an appliance?
