| Has anyone tried the new D-Link DFL-CP310? It looks just like the Checkpoint/Sofware appliance, but cheaper. (Around $250). http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=481 What I'd like to do is use these in a site-to-site VPN managed by a Checkpoint Smartcenter, in place of the VPN Edge X. They are so much cheaper, about 25% of the checkpoint product. Does anyone know if I can do this, or have already done it? Thanks! |

| The D-Link is indeed a Safe@Office box being OEM'ed by d-link. It should be priced about the same as a Safe@ as it is not manageable by SmartCenter and doesn't have the performance pack. I'm not sure if its SMP compatible either. On the low end there is also the ZoneAlarm box, which is the same code. |

| Agreed. Our CSP replied that is a Safe@200 which is exclusively distributed in the US. These won't be covered by normal Check Point support, instead you would have to ask D-Link in support cases. It's a low price product by all means, deal with it. Best regards, Danny Trommer CCSA/CCSE/CCSE+ |

| I am thinking to use the ZoneAlarm box for home, sadly, it's only ship to US and there's no local distribution in our country. Quote:
