Default Edge Hotspot Page

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to modify the Edge Hotspot page such that it is customised with company logo etc.

I have looked through the user manual but cannot find any information.

Thanks

Ian

From Sofaware: "It's coming". They seem to be pretty fast so I would expect that, along with redirection, in a few months.

Ian,

If you can't wait on SofaWare for their latest article on the Edge Hotspot GUI Customizer guide, you can use their methods which are based on Embedded NGX gateways and include both Safe@Office and VPN-1 Edge gateways.

The screenshots on their 'Customizing the My HotSpot Page' release for firmware 6.5.x work just fine for me with the latest firmware 7.0.33x. I have used it on Safe@Office 500 UTM & VPN-1 Edge X & W Series boxes all running version 7.0.33x.

Here is the link to the SofaWare article:

ChilliJim is probably referring to the Remote Management part of implementing the .gui files via SmartCenter as this already works great via SMP. I use both SmartCenter and SMP. However, I am still trying to successfully implement the .gui files via the SmartCenter.

Hope this helps.

UPDATE

I was able to inject my company logo into Edge & Safe@Office appliances via the SmartCenter.

You can follow the instructions I mentioned and provided a link for in my previous post and once you have the .gui file created these are the steps to get them implemented via the SmartCenter for your managed policies.

Just like the last page of the GUI Customization guide stated.

Copy the .gui file locally onto the SmartCenter server and then locate the SMS INI files.

The SMS INI file is called 'SWManagementServer.ini'.

In this file, go to the [Server] section and enter the following entry:
GuiFile=<full-path-of-gui-file>

Perform a cprestart on the management server and refresh your managed gateways.
