Default smb

Hello 2 all

I have an vpn-1 edge x16, remotly configured with smart center in our internal LAN (without vpn functionality).

In a basic configuration any is open from the net behind the vpn-1 to the outside (our lan).

My problem. I could connect to a windows-share from behind the vpn-1 with a windows client, but not with a mac (apple) (smb://share).

any sugestions?

Thanks Raegi

no idea, but you could check Smartdefense in the Edge box for file sharing. Also security log on the Edge in case it got recorded there.

Thanx a lot! The solution was to use cifs instead of smb. No idea why, but it works now! :-)
