Remote users accessing internet

Hi

I have set up an edge device at remote office (Star VPN). It does say in the set up that i should be able to route to other satellites and to the internet.
I can route to the central gateway no problem but i cannot get beyond it.
Is there anything in particular i should be looking for here?
It works fine if i point the users to a proxy at head office but i do need certain nodes to go directly to the internet.
