If there is a difference it isn't very much. Mostly branding. I haven't worked with an Edge device to fully compare.

Nokia IP40 must be manageable from Horizon Manager. It is the only difference AFAIK.

The one difference from the "OS" side is the IP40 supports (and I use that loosely) BGP. It also tends to run about 3-6 month behind on the release scheduled for Check Point Embedded (AKA the Safe@/Edge firmware)
