texit_handler called - R65 HFA_02

I've got fwd exiting with the msg 'texit_handler called'. I'm told there's another patch that needs to be applied to HFA_02, and that it will fix this. This is happening several times a day, it seems that it's kicked off most often when someone attaches via the vpn.

I'm restarting fwd with the command 'fwd&".

Would somebody clue me in here on the patch and if this is a common problem.

Tried looking around SK land for your error and didn't find anything. The error message seems to be fairly generic--I would suggest trying to debug it with this command:

fw debug fwd on TDERROR_ALL_ALL=3

and looking at the fwd.elg files after it crashes.

Is installing HFA 30 an option?

I too had searched SK land and no joy. Thanks for schooling me with fw debug cmd. And, HFA 30 is an option once I get the duplexing problem solved on my what I call my primary fw server. So this patch that supposed to be applied to HFA_20 can you tell me a bit about it. I've downloaded two, both are at work at the moment so I don't remember the names. One is around 7 mb in size and the other is around 24 mb.

The fix is to apply patch NGX R65 HFA_02_HF. Now that I've done that the "fwd" daemon is no longer crashing.
