| I have configured our SPLAT UTM-2050 Cluster for SNMP. The firewalls were running for the last few months fine as far as SNMP polling goes. Recently something happened and the snmp service dies and I can not query anything. Seems to be some kind of bug? I have two UTM-2050 R65. When I restart snmp via "service snmpd restart" here is what I see sometimes [Expert@FW1]# service snmpd restart Stopping snmpd: [FAILED] Starting snmpd: [ OK ] Also one time after the restart the snmp agent pegged the CPU at 100% PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT %CPU %MEM TIME CPU COMMAND 22020 root 25 0 9968 9964 7492 R 97.7 0.4 3:07 0 cpsnmpagentx If anyone has any ideas I am open for suggestions. I enabled SNMP from the command line and edited the /etc/snmp/snmpd.users.conf file with our community and that's about it. Thats what I do on all our splat boxes (about 10 of them) and never seen this issue |
