Hi all, I have been through the post but not too much luck although a few things similar. We have tried to install Splat r65 onto a new dell server 1950 poweredge but this fails saying that it's unable to find a valid disk to install onto. Has anyone had a similar experience please? Thanks Sam

If this is a brand new 1950 then will be a 1950 III, which is only supported on SPLAT 2.6 not the standard CD distribution. The standard CD is tested with a 1950 II with a Perc 5i. Last edited by mcnallym; 2008-08-19 at 04:20.

Amazingly, the 2.6 SecurePlatform did in fact resolve the mega RAID issue. The funny thing though I cannot recall seeing a SK on the issue of which I am sure other people around the world is experiencing. Thanks, people for your continued support; I do find most of my resolution on this forum rather than on secure knowledge base. Hats off to you people.
