Default Splat install fail

Hi all,
I have been through the post but not too much luck although a few things similar.
We have tried to install Splat r65 onto a new dell server 1950 poweredge but this fails saying that it's unable to find a valid disk to install onto.
Has anyone had a similar experience please?
Thanks
Sam

If this is a brand new 1950 then will be a 1950 III, which is only supported on SPLAT 2.6 not the standard CD distribution.

The standard CD is tested with a 1950 II with a Perc 5i.

I am having the same problem so I'm currently downloading the 2.6 version. Will provide an update if successful or otherwise.

Thanks.

Amazingly, the 2.6 SecurePlatform did in fact resolve the mega RAID issue. The funny thing though I cannot recall seeing a SK on the issue of which I am sure other people around the world is experiencing.

Thanks, people for your continued support; I do find most of my resolution on this forum rather than on secure knowledge base. Hats off to you people.
