Default splat on vmware workstation

hi all i am using a xp host pc with 2 intel pro MT desktop adapter and running vmware workstation 6.

i created a redhat linux disc and the virtual machine for splat i hadded 2 adapters. in the virtual settings i have bridged eth0 to vmnet0 and bridged eth1 to vmnet3.

but when i install splat on the virtual machine during the installation it shows both the nics but shows no link up on both the nics. my nics are connected to switches and they are up.

can someone help me out on this.

Ok so there's two places you need to set it up. First (the one I think you already did) in VM Console, Host -> Virtual Network Settings -> Host Virtual Network Mapping -> You specified a nic for each VMnet#.

Second, in the VM, double click the Ethernet icon, select "Custom: Specific virtual network" and make sure the correct VMnet is selected.

Assuming that's all correct, then I'd ask which splat version you're trying to install...
