It basically says to make sure you are using https and not just http. I would make sure that if it's also a firewall, make sure there isn't a policy that is blocking you.

I am using the SPLAT NGX60A. on the CheckPoint_R60A_SecurePlatform_SecurePlatformPro_U ser_Guide.pdf First Time Setup Using the Web Interface After the installation from the CD has been completed, and the computer has been rebooted, a first time setup is required in order to: • configure the network settings • configure the time/date/time zone • configure the allowed IPs of SSH and administration Web UI clients • select which products will be installed • set the initial configuration of installed products but I can't find where to configure the allowed IPs of SSH and administration Web UI clients.

I'm also looking for some solution to make the WEB UI working. I've found out that the package spwm_dev_mgmt is not installed. If you call the command it always checks it: rpm -q spwm_dev_mgmt and following error message is displayed: "This command is not active" Any idea how to bring this package to the SPLAT? Cheers, Adam

Not only on SPLAt Pro. SPLAT have Web UI also (for some simple "parameters"). I think these UI are identical. If you want SmartPortal you need license or SmartCenter Pro or separate SmartPortal license.

| One problem I had was, I had made config changes at the CLI. Then, I tested the web console with the user still logged in. It tried to kick out the one on the console, but it didn't work very well. As long as I made sure to log out first, it worked a lot better. It shoudl be noted, this is the build on vmware supplied by CHKP. Last edited by RobertGraham; 2006-04-07 at 13:36.
