| Just want to share with everyone what I've recently found out regarding Checkpoint NG w/ AI R55 trunk (VLAN) and 3COM 3c905x: There is an issue with the NIC driver thus causing the large packet going through the firewall to be dropped. You will NOT see this in the log, you can only see this with either fw monitor or tcpdump. Work_around: use Intel PRO NIC and it will resolve the trunking issue with large packet. Have fun guys!!! |
