Not sure on the part number, but as long as you are not using HP servers, the Intel Pro/1000 cards in general are pretty good. THey do not work on HP servers.

My Server is IBM x3250, I don't think so have a problem on IBM. But I remember; this semptom is realy yourself? Only just a problem our NIC (Broadcom)??
