| Anyone know the answer to this? I have a Sun X4200-M2 running RAID-1 (2x140GB HD) running as SPLAT NGx R65 2.6 kernel Enforcement modules. The firewall is running fine. As a test, I removed one of the Hard Drives from the firewall. The firewall continues to run. That's expected. I inserted a new hard drive into the slot where the original hard drive was removed. My question is that will the "new" hard drive get rebuilt (i.e. mirror image via RAID-1) on the fly? If so, how long will it take for the rebuild to complete? Thanks. |
