Scratch this one. The problem was related to a particular desktop. It worked fine from a laptop. Note: From the desktop I had tried both IE6 and Firefox v1, neither worked. Both worked from the laptop.

Interesting problem, I always get this problem when accessing SmartPlatform R60 when it's running in VMWare and using the host PC browse to access it.

Don't get the problem when using another external PC to the VMWare SPLAT or from one VMWare virtual machine to another.

Any ideas?

I think something gets screwed up when your doing the install. Like a file don't get written cleanly to disk. I have a test lab setup. When I do an install in the lab, first thing I check now is access via the gui. If it's a problem, I reinstall, and I'm using the same piece of equipment and I'm using the same cd. It just seems that sometimes I get a good clean file copy routine that writes to the drives correctly and other times I don't.
