| I've been reading the forums for a while so I thought I'd give something back. I'm not sure how else to do it but if you have quite a few firewalls changing passwords can be a pain therefore I wrote a script for SecureCRT. The list of firewalls are kept within the devices.txt and the script does a lookup against this list. The script currently does the following in a loop until it runs out of firewalls in the list: - logs in via ssh - changes the admin password - logs into expert - changes the expert password Error checking and logging also occur. These get saved to session.log, pass.log (incorrect expert password) and error.log (connection errors). I'm not a scripting expert so if anyone can suggest any improvements please go ahead and re-post. cheers migs29 Last edited by migs29; 2007-12-21 at 08:44. |
