| When i use a command ifdown in a interface, the routes are dropped? Even if its stored on a file? If the question answer is yes, i have to reload the routes file? |

| Yes, you lose the routes associated with the interface when you do an ifdown. Performing an ifup will not bring the routes back, so they must be reloaded manually. |
