Hi, I am connecting to my firewall using plink.exe, I can logon using admin account : c:\plink 10.11.11.1 -l admin -pw password and it brings me to the [admin@hostname]# prompt but when I use the expert account I cannot login it says "Access denied", even if I use it in putty. how can I enable the expert account to logo? I usually use the admin account first then goto expert. Thanks and regards..

Is it prompting you for a password? If so, then its telling you you have the wrong password. See Password Recovery on SecurePlatform

as I mentioned earlier, if you change the shell type in /etc/passwd for the admin user, you log in directly as "expert" instead of "admin" and the full range of commands is available. hth, Doeschi
