Default IE7 and SPLAT web interface

Hi,
I'am unable to configure SPLAT via web interface routes etc. via IE7. Is this known problem and can be fixed by updating SPLAT? Same issue is repeated with other products for example smartportal.

Thanks,

Jani

Hi Jani,

This is probably to do with the internal XMLHTTP engine on IE and an incompatibility between that and the SPLAT web interface.
Two options:
  1. Update to the later release of SecurePlatform as I believe that this is not supposed to be a problem any more in R65 (I havent verified this yet...later in the week I should be able to)
  2. Disable the MS XML, Tools > internet Options >Advanced and under Security, uncheck the checkbox next to "Enable native XMLHTTP support".
Cheers
Greg

Thanks a lot for that solution. It helped me on R62. Luckily no issues with FireFox.
