| Hi folks, i'm trying to install SmartPortal on my splatbox but am coming across some difficulties. I have copied the RPM over from the CD and done an rpm -i CPportal-R65-00.i386.rpm (it's an R65 box) The rpm installed ok and everything seems fine. However I can't seem to connect on port 4433 as I would expect. The website gives me an error about the certificate (expected with an internal CA) and then nothing, no errors just a blank page. I've tried on a number of different machines with different browsers (ie/ff etc) The original web gui also seems to have died as I can't connect to that either. I've tried smartportalstop and then smartportalstart but that doesn't help. I've also tried a cpstop and cpstart but that doesn't help either. A little vauge I know but any pointers would be appreciated. |

| Try this... 1. Remove the SmartPortal RPM install 2. Go into cpconfig and install SmartPortal from there (It should be an option) 3. cpstop/cpstart just for good measure 4. issue a webui enable 443 That should kick all of the logic and get things to start up correctly. |
