Default SmartPortal Installation

Hi folks,
i'm trying to install SmartPortal on my splatbox but am coming across some difficulties.

I have copied the RPM over from the CD and done an rpm -i CPportal-R65-00.i386.rpm (it's an R65 box)

The rpm installed ok and everything seems fine. However I can't seem to connect on port 4433 as I would expect. The website gives me an error about the certificate (expected with an internal CA) and then nothing, no errors just a blank page. I've tried on a number of different machines with different browsers (ie/ff etc)

The original web gui also seems to have died as I can't connect to that either. I've tried smartportalstop and then smartportalstart but that doesn't help. I've also tried a cpstop and cpstart but that doesn't help either.

A little vauge I know but any pointers would be appreciated.

Try this...

1. Remove the SmartPortal RPM install
2. Go into cpconfig and install SmartPortal from there (It should be an option)
3. cpstop/cpstart just for good measure
4. issue a webui enable 443

That should kick all of the logic and get things to start up correctly.
