| Hi all, We have a new list of IBM servers we can buy in my company. So I'm having a look at CP's Open Servers. IBM x3550 is listed so can i assume that it would work fine on an x3500 ? For an x3550, it says "This platform requires R62 GA.". Do you know what GA stands for ? It is also written that "This platform is not supported by SecurePlatform R60 GA and R61 GA. It will be supported in future HFA media packs of R60 and R61." ... I have a R60 (HFA03 included). Do you think it would work with it ? Thanks in advance. |

| Hi aenima, I'm not pretty sure that your server will work with NGX R60. Please take a look at this link: http://www.checkpoint.com/services/t.../hcl/vpn1.html It is only stated that IBM x3550 are supported for R62 and R65. Nothing mentions that R60 (any HFA) is supported. I think it will be safer to use R62 or R65, but you can always try R60 if you have some time before the deployment. It might work. Tan |
