Default SMTP Security Service with RG60

I have recently installed SecurePlatform RG60 HFA04 using Dell Power Edge 2950 with Broadcom NetXtreme 5708 Gigabit3 Ethernet NIC's. The firewall is having slow response for new smtp connections and some good emails are missing. The configuration is using the SMTP security service. The firewalls outside interface is eth0 and insided eth1. I can't understand the logs when it reports a smtp drop by the clean up rule with a internet address as the source to the destination of the firewall as being outbound on eth0. Does any one know where this could be coming from ? They are happening 2 a second.
Update: Using fw monitor it shows many SYN packets are not being recognized. The SMTP connections are showing slow responses to no response. Seems like it may be more in the kernel than the configuration for SMTP. Does any one know tips for improving the Security Server SMTP response times?

Default Re: SMTP Security Service with RG60

Maybe the option "Check rule base with new destination" is on (inside the SMTP resource tab), try to disable it or to add a matching rule with accept action.
