Default SPLAT cpconfig (stupid question)

Hi all!
I've strange situation: trying to change built-in-admin password through cpconfig - and can't see some sections as administrators and GUI and someone else. What can it be? Or where do i wrong? SPlat NGX R60.

Maybe it's a module only? If it isn't a management station you won't have the GUI clients or admin options.

For the SPLAT admin password you can use the "passwd" command, I think.

When you install SPLAT, the first time you run "cpconfig", it will ask you a lot of questions. One of them is if it's a stand-alone or a distributed firewall. A stand-alone firewall will have the firewall and management in the same box, while a distributed will only have one of those modules.

From what you report, it seems that firewall doesn't have the management module installed.

Do a "cpstat mg", and check the results.

Only if you have the management module installed can you define and change firewall admins and the GUI clients settings.
