External Public IP Address Change

I need to change the ip address of the external connection of the Checkpoint FW. We have a SPLAT running on Red Hat Linux and there are 2 of them

Please how do I go about changing the ip addresses successfully? Is there documentation for this? What will be the impact? What do I need to watch out for?

What commands do I use?

change it using sysconfig on splat.
Impact depends on your configuration, vpns, remote clients etc...anything that depends today on your current external address will have to be reconfigured..
