Default WAN Link Failover

Hi Guys,

I'm noob to Checkpoint and have inherited a checkpoint system at my place of work.

The setup we have here is SPLAT version NGX (R60)
Recently we have experienced outages on our only WAN line, this as you know causes major problems, my question is can you configure this system to use a 'failover' connection, say ISDN?

I know the speed of the connection would be slow but at least we would have some connectivity to our other offices.

Thanks in advance

David Hardy

Are there any issues with the 'redundancy failover' on SPLAT NGX R60 or any best practices.

i know in Nokia boxes you have to enter some proxy ARP entries into the OS so that you could use both ISP IP ranges for NAT'ed machines behind the firewall.
not sure how or if you need to do that on SPLAT or not.
