I'm sorry, but does anybody here claiming to be a CCSP know what they are talking about.. A CCSP is a checkpoint Certified Support Partner. This is a status given to a company, not an individual.. I'm assuming the original poster is asking whether or not having this Status, improves business for Reseller and partners.. The company i work for are a CCSP, howver we are new ish to this status, so too early to comment on benefits of it..

It's not just for Europe. We're a CCSP in New Zealand. Biggest benefits are to be able to sell the new Collaborative support packages. Of which I understand there are 3 levels. The good thing for CCSP's is that non CCSP resellers cannot sell these new support packages, only the older software subscription based packages (again as I understand it). It's check Point's way of providing some benefit to their certified partners. So far it looks good to us.

Yes, I work for CCSP. All my customer in my region are tagged 'Co-Standard' or 'Co-Premium' Support. Sometimes, it isn't fun dealing with Checkpoint on a daily basis. The American TAC just forwards all cases to Israel. Dealing with Israeli TAC needs alot of patience. __________________ If it is man made, it is fixable.
