IT Security Manager Position - Central IL!

We are seeking an IT Security Manager for the IT Department of an International Food Ingredients Company with US Offices located in Decatur, Illinois.

Globally, our Client has 60 production facilities in 24 countries. Some travel, both domestic and international, will be a requirement for the person chosen to fill this role.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree or better
• 5-10 years related work experience
• Recognized Certifications such as:
• CISSP (Cert. Info. Systems Security Professional)
• CISA (Certified Info. Systems Auditor)
• GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification)
• MSCE: Security, CCNP, CCSP & related certifications

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Operating as subject matter expert on security related initiatives
• Architect, formalize, communicate & monitor overall security strategy
• Ensure prevention of access, modifications, disclosure or destruction of information assets
• Conduct risk, vulnerability, security & technical assessments throughout our company, our business partners & vendors to reduce overall risk
• Maintain awareness into emerging security best practices, threats & developing technologies
