The company is based out of Pompano Beach, Florida (just north of Ft Lauderdale). Mission Critical Systems has been serving as a very prominent conduit for the sales and support of various best-of-breed security products and professional services for over 11 years. Our solution set includes products from Check Point, RSA, EMC, VMWare, McAfee, Symantec, Aruba, Webesense, and many others.

Responsibilities for this position include : pre-sales consultation of network security products & implementation strategies, professional implementation services, first to third level support, considerable documentation, and project management. The Security Engineer’s role works very closely with the Mission Critical Systems sales team, product logistics, and management to ensure the continued success and growth of the company.

The following skills and qualifications are required to apply for this position:
• Check Point CCSE, and minimum three years of solid Check Point experience (prefer CCSE+)
• Advanced knowledge of TCPIP, routing, subnetting, and Layers 1-7.
• Certifications and/or designations in security areas outside of CheckPoint. Examples include CCSP, CISSP, or JCIE.
• Heavy involvement in computer information security in group forums, mailing lists, boards, etc.
• Well versed in business processes and functions with heavy professionalism as it relates to communication with customers on all levels including excellent written skills.
