(ICE) presents a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and business challenges in the financial sector. ICE team members work across departments and traditional boundaries to innovate and respond to industry demand. The Information Security Engineer will architect, deploy, and manage mission-critical Information Security infrastructure. Based in Atlanta, the Information Security Engineer will work with Information Security counterparts in New York and London to create flexible, high-performance security solutions to meet internal and external challenges. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage access control systems – Checkpoint Firewall-1 in a Provider-1 environment; Manage monitoring and alert systems, researching potential security issues and documenting reviews; Work across business lines to review access to confidential data and facilitate security compliance across departments; Audit third-party providers for compliance with ICE Information Security policies; Perform daily and weekly inspections to detect system changes and document that change management processes have been followed; Document, review, and enhance system and process policies and procedures; Monitor firewall and intrusion detection systems and investigate or escalate anomalies; Monitor key vendor communications for system vulnerability and patch status and monitor remediation. REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in CIS, Engineering, or a related discipline; Must have 2+ years experience with Checkpoint FW-1 NGX in P-1 environment; Expert TCP/IP networking skills; Understanding of core IT concepts including networking and access control; Cisco and Checkpoint client and lan-to-lan VPN technologies; Strong data analysis skills and competence in MS Word and Excel; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects; Minimal travel: 2-3 weeks per year, potentially international. Preferred Skills and Experience: CISSP, GIAC or CCSA; RSA authentication; Intrusion detection systems; UNIX/Linux system administration; Windows system administration; RSA SecureID; AXIS IP cameras; HID/Proxcard physical security systems.
