Philadelphia suburbs – Security Lead

Our client, a global company based in the Philadelphia suburbs, has retained us to find a global security lead, to oversee how company wide security policies operate, and identify gaps in security capabilities and requirements and work up cost effective solutions to remedy the gaps.

Successful candidates will have 5 years experience, and know ISS, Checkpoint in a very large organization, Nokia technology, Cisco, and disaster recovery. CISSP certification is expected, as is proven interest in current industry trends.

Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry regulations is helpful, to appreciate criticality of downtime. Our client needs someone who is comfortable working in an ITIL environment, and who is comfortable in a company where people work well together, capitalizing on mgt by influence, consensus building. Global experience is essential for understanding working with different cultures and divisions.

Key initiatives will include developing astrategic security road map, rolling out ITIL definition of security management worldwide, and helping to evaluate current infrastructure and make long term strategy for WAN connectivity .

Superb written and oral communication and strategic skills are critical to this role.

I get 150 of these job reqs per week week, tons of requirements and certification requirements, however they are only willing to pay 60-80k per year.....(same as a server admin but they want you to have 5 certs and 7 years experience)
