Our client employs two (2) Nokia IP350 Firewall appliances with
Checkpoint Firewall-1 software for its principle firewall
platform. Currently, the platform is supplemented by a software-
only Checkpoint firewall hosted on a Microsoft Windows NT 4 Server
platform, a network operating system ("NOS") no longer supported
by Microsoft. Despite the investment of two Nokia IP350
appliances, only one appliance is being employed as a firewall by
them today; the other, though mounted in the Data Center in Texas,
goes unutilized.

The objectives of this engagement are to provide a reliable re-
configuration of their Nokia IP350 Firewall Platform such that
they may exploit the platform to its fullest potential, improve
performance in the support of virtual private network ("VPN")
connections for remote workstations in the field, and rely upon
the high-availability capabilities of the firewall platform to
ensure the highest degree of fault-tolerance. To satisfy these
objectives, we will perform the following 12 steps: Call to
discuss.
