Checkpoint/Nokia consultant, Dallas TX

Our Fortune 100 client is looking for a Security consultant for a 6 month engagement. This is a W2 opportunity in Dallas, Texas.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of information technology experience, with at least 1 year spent in a security administration position.
- Solid expertise with perimeter, host and network security administration including firewalls; intrusion detection/prevention and antivirus.
- Working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol and services.
- Strong knowledge of network routing and switching architectures and concepts.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Core Technology Background Required:
- Check Point Firewall-1 NG and/or NGX running on Nokia IP Security Appliances
- Symantec antivirus experience
- McAfee antivirus and EPO experience
- Strong experience with Windows (client & server) and/or UNIX (Sun Solaris), LINUX operating systems

Required Certifications:
- Check Point Security Expert (CCSE), (NG & NGX)
- Check Point Security Administrator (CCSA), (NG & NGX)
