What you will be doing:
• In House Subject Matter Expert
• Primary Point of Contact for Network Security for all LAN/Window Servers
• Monitor the organizations local area network and information systems for compliance with company policies.
• Monitoring system access logs for unauthorized internal and external access attempts.
• Recommending changes to system operation and LAN/WAN procedures to ensure adherence to security policies.
• Recommending changes to improve the company’s Security Policy and Employee Computer Policy.
• Perform internal security audits on systems and networks.
• Preparing regular reports of security audits and monitoring activities
• Maintaining the present status of system security related projects.
• Coordinating system and network security audits by external consultants or auditors.
• Remain current in technical and security skills by attending training classes and seminars as needed.
• Some travel required

Experience & Qualifications Needed:
• MUST HAVE CURRENT experience administering and monitoring CHECK POINT FIREWALLS
• 4 year degree in related discipline or professional experience equivalent.
• 3 years Network Security Administration experience.
• MUST be a US Citizen. No Exceptions!!!! (Sorry, No Third Party Recruiters)

Additional Experience & Certifications are considered HUGE pluses:
• MCSE
• CCNA – Cisco Experience
• CSSP
