I am planning to appear for the Exam, just wanted to re-confirm from someone who has appeared recently in this week or last week......
Is unicert & actual test version of 101 Quest still active for Exams????
Plz reply soon buddies.....Wish me luck too.....

Yes I have appeared exam on 2nd May & cleared the Exam with dot 70%.....
Unicert is not tht efficient as earlier cos only 55-65% from Unicert or Actual test.....
I will recommend everyone to study thouroughly 2-3 times then once or twice go through actual tests or Unicert.....
But I am thankful to each & everyone here on forum & especially rflario & sfa8us for helping me to gain this Certification.....
I was fortunate enough to clear out....
Nywas now i hav max.Technical Certifications hence planing towards CISA or CISSP's ......

I just took the exam also (2 May). I will note that the all of the dumps are for the old exam 156-215.1, while the exam number is now 156-215.65. AFAIK, there are not yet any dumps for the R65 version of this test.

Will the old dumps help you any? Yes, some. Just be aware that some p4s, vce and TestKing answers are wrong and many are no longer relevant to the R65 exam.

My study recommendation is to read the R65 doc bundle, use the sims and really, just be familiar with the product, there is no substitute for familiarity and experience. If you can get the official courseware, that would be ideal.

Know these topics well:
QoS
SmartDefense (including Profile management)
Backup/Restore - upgrade_export/import - Rulebase Revision
Authentication methods (and port numbers)
Monitoring and Blocking
What component of CheckPoint does ________?

This was my first CP cert. I have been told that this test is harder than 156-215.1 but cannot personally confirm this. I've been doing CP for almost 4 years now and I thought the test was fairly tough.

156-215.1 is still available
I don't know why they created an exam for R65.

Hey Guys

I am looking at giving CCSE NGX 315.1 in two weeks. I went through Check Point Security Administration II NGX guide.

Will give R60 docs a read too. Is there anything else that needs to be covered?
